Why did you build REV in the first place?

To simplify the animation development process. REV brings Animator and Client together like never before, providing you with a tool to visually manage the entire facial animation project from start to finish. This not only saves you time, but streamlines the process, allowing FacePro to offer high-quality facial animation at affordable prices.

Sounds Good, But What Exactly Does It Do?

REV contains your entire project, Characters > Scenes > Animations. As facial animations are completed they are available for review on REV. After reviewing the animation you can either 1) Approve it as-is, or 2) Post comments requesting revisions. If you have requested a new revision, FacePro completes that revision, and you recieve a daily update on which animations are ready for review.

What about security?

The first question we asked ourselves as we started designing REV was, "How do we keep our clients' data secure?" With that question in mind we built REV from the ground up utilizing proven technologies, 256bit SSL security, hardened Linux servers and daily backups. In addition there are two different user security levels, one for your project administrator(s) [who can approve animations and request revisions] and a project viewer [who can navigate the project & view animations, without the authority to approve or request revisions.]

Will it handle my project structure?

REV was built to be highly scalable. Managing a project with thousands of animations is just as simple as one with only a handful. Its flexible database and navigation allow it to mold to any facial animation project.

Do I need to download any special software or viewers to my computer?

No. REV is a true web application. It runs on our secure dedicated servers, insuring that you and FacePro are always synchronized- no matter where you are or what computer you're on. All you need is a modern web browser and a high speed internet connection. No fancy plugins, no applications to install, just browse to the site, Login and Go!
